Darren and Cynthia Binkley (Dar-Cyn) behind the company name, here is where our story begins. We were married in 1988 and have been happily married for 22 years. We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters who are 18 and 10 years old. Our home is also occupied by two great danes. We are actively involved members at Midway United Methodist Church and Cynthia coaches cheerleading and is very involved in the growth of this sport in our area. We have both grew up in Davidson County and are very proud of the community in which we live.
In 2004, we became very interested in the home building process. Darren, who had always been a building hobbyist, decided to take a more serious approach to the home building field. After exploring the home market in our area, Darren was very fortunate to have several colleagues and friends who are superior home builders who have shown him the ropes. Darcyn Homes did not want to copy the ideas of others but we decided to build on these principles and add our own flair and style. Darren and Cynthia both come from previous employment where customer service was always the number one priority. Both still bring these concepts of customer service and quality building standards to every spec home and custom home that Darcyn Homes represents.
